So, we did a day-trip to Pak Phanang and Laem Talumphuk (Talumphuk Peninsula) while in Nakhon Si Thammarat. We have been hearing a lot about the two places and now it’s time to actually be there. Below is the list to our previous episodes featuring our road trip to southern Thailand.

1. Pak Phanang District – อำเภอปากพนัง this is a sleepy part of Nakhon Si Thammarat, but should you go there, weekends might be a good idea when people come out and explore the town. The fresh market is worth a visit.
2. Ban Chai Khlong Restaurant – ร้านอาหารบ้านชายคลอง perhaps the most popular, hence consistent restaurant in the area. Their seafood dishes are also very delicious. Daily: 10.00 – 22.00, T: (075) 333 831.
3. Laem Talumphuk – แหลมตะลุมพุก it is our ritual to be there on the land’s end and take a wefie, but this time the weather was not on our side, so we got as far as the parking lot of the peninsula.
4. Pak Phanang Watergate – ประตูน้ำปากพนัง This watergate has a crucial function as the barrier between seawater and freshwater in this delta area and that allows agricultural life to go on. Another perpetual vision of the late King Rama IX. Oh, how much I miss him.
