But somehow our exuberant source managed to put together a concept for us to draw a clear picture of Penang in relation to Phuket and perhaps making our next trips (or eating trip in most cases) to both cities much more fun. In 2015, Phuket was listed by UNESCO to be a City of Gastronomy and doing a story on the delicious foods there led me to this trip to the 30th International Baba Ngonya Convention with the Thai Peranakan Association that took place in Penang in November...
